Give Us Our Data, Facebook
I haven't logged onto Facebook in 2 months - for me Facebook is simply a way of keeping track of past acquaintances ...real friends deserve real contact.

Khan Academy Buys Cybersquatted Dot Com
Unlucky for all the "other" Khan academies: 1. The Aga Khan Academies 2. The Khan Academy in Pakistan (unrelated I think). 3. Gengis Khan University in Mongolia (spelled CHINGGIS KHAAN) 4. Academy of Gengis Khan. 5. ...and plenty more...after all the name "Khan" is fairly common.

Google Is Not Problem
Google is not the problem...idiots broadcasting their unencrypted data is the problem. "Listening-in" to wifi traffic (and using that information) has become a trivial exercise.

Twitter Owns The Account
I believe that neither employer nor employee own a Twitter account...Twitter do...Twitter decides what functionality your account has and what it can be used for. If anyone disagrees see what happens when you try to sell your account.

Two Sets Of Rules
It would appear that there are 2 sets of rules: 1 for adults and one for children. If an adult made "derogatory, sexual and defamatory statements" about a colleague on Youtube and then invited a bunch of co-workers to view the video they would be fired for sexual harassment. They would certainly be given more than a "2-day suspension".

Google blocked on the TV
The only way for a site to block particular browsers or devices is to sniff the browser user string (and then block access). As this is sent by the browser, this is a trivial problem for Google to fix. We should not expect the incumbent operators to play ball ... they know that they will eventually be replaced by the likes of the Youtube. This is simply a matter of bandwidth...as soon as there are enough consumers, with enough incoming home bandwidth to make internet delivered VoD mainstream, mass generic TV will start to die (just like the mass generic news media). This is inevitable.

Field Experience
Clearly a way for the Indonesian government to protect its agricultural industry...(soon to be) unemployed programmers can now get some field experience.

Yep, Apple Killed The CD Today
Will re-downloading even be possible if Apple decide that a particular application no longer meets their standards?

Yep, Apple Killed The CD Today
I don't think that it is fair to say that Apple "killed" the optical disc as Apple is a niche player on the desk (and on the lap)(a big niche, but still niche). The internet is killing optical discs as it has now become feasible to download large applications from the internet. I think that the media companies are going to try and make this trend difficult by increasing the size of media files (the real reason behind HD and 3d?).
