"December the 15th saw a secret UK court hearing, with secret participants, produce a secret order to secretly gag the population, the terms of which are secret and the revelation of which is punishable by upto 10 years of imprisonment. How many of these orders exist is unknowable—we glimpse at the severity of the problem only when the orders are violated. So let's start violating them."

"Citizen videos" spread online showing BART police officer shooting unarmed man to death

Cop shoots someone dead...while they are lying face-down on the ground. Self defense? Video footage not for the squeamish... When Everyone Is A Blogger, Nothing You Say Is Off The Record

"I want to take this opportunity and use this non-event to signal a dangerous phenomenon in our society. We live in a time where everybody is free to publish whatever he or she wants on blogs at will without taking any responsibility. This exceeds mud-slinging. Together with you, other Parliament members and the government I find that it’s nearly impossible to defend yourself against this. Everyone of you is a potential victim. I would like to ask you to take a moment and think about this." - Belgian Minister of Defense Pieter De Crem. Interesting case...read the link! What I want to know is, why does Belgium have minister of defense?
